Subject constitution and violence at school

This paper addresses the experience of violence at school and how it is embedded in constitution of the subject. The perspective of analysis falls on the effects of this violence on the subject who practices it and who witnesses it in the school environment, bringing up social and psychoanalytic elements of this phenomenon. The objective is show violence at school as a constituent part of the subject, of his understanding of himself and world around him. A conceptual debate is carried out around violence, violence at school and violence in the constitution of children and adolescents, based on a bibliographic review around debate on school violence and subjectivity. The results show violence at school stems from the realities of their students, from their longings and internal issues that are influenced by the social, cultural, economic context and present limitations of these young people in the realization of their dreams, which leads aggressiveness and destructiveness, which converge to the notion of violence.
