The digital game as a teaching resource to problematize environmental education spaces

The ethnographic research described here originated a digital didactic game based on the investigation of some environmental education practices developed at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina campus São José - IFSC / SJ. The game was created from the study of environmental education projects developed at the institution and subsequently selected, from observations made on campus and from interviews with some participants of the educational proposals. Among the different actions and spaces of environmental education carried out at the IFSC / SJ, we chose to present four of them in the game, as they are related to different spaces, contexts, subjects and levels of education. It is hoped that the didactic game “IFSC / SJ does environmental education?” presented in this study will be constantly updated, to give visibility to other environmental education practices carried out at the institution. The digital didactic game presents itself as a playful form of teaching and learning, making accessible information about the elements that make up the previously selected environments, as well as the projects related to them.
