This research analyzed the affective attitudes (feelings and emotions) of professors regarding adherence to remote teaching. A semi-structured interview was applied with 20 professors from a Federal University. Data were processed and analyzed using two-cycle coding, statistical tests (Mann-Whitney, Friedman ANOVA, and Wilcoxon Signed Rank), and content analysis. The results showed a mix of emotions and conflicting feelings experienced by the professors before, during, and after the Supplementary College Period (remote). It was found that these attitudes varied according to the time of exposure to the experience and that the impulse for positive affective attitudes of teachers is linked to relationships with their audience, their values, and the feeling of belonging to the institution. The findings of this research can be explored by educational institutions to develop or improve strategic actions that address the socio-emotional aspects of teachers in a context of crisis or changes.
