Interfaces of a teaching based on sensitive listening

This article constitutes an excerpt from the master's thesis that addressed sensitive listening in the teaching practices of a teacher when teaching. It exposes how the researched teacher puts into effect this practice and her contributions to student learning. The problem raised is the following: How is sensitive listening presented in the teaching and learning process of a teacher in action? The listed objective is to investigate sensitive listening as a mediating action in teaching practices. Thus, it is explained how the methodological process of data collection took place. A qualitative approach was chosen to carry out the research, with a case study approach. As evidenced in the research, the sensitive listening carried out by the teacher contributed to the students during the school year being able to maintain a good relationship and learn in a way that encouraged their protagonism. Based on sensitive listening, the teacher carries out her planning in order to meet the pedagogical specificities of each student, respecting them in their particularities and different ways of learning.
