Abstract

In this paper aimed to analyze the students’ performance of Brazilian bachelor’s degree courses in Physical Education in the National Exam for the Assessment of Student Performance (known as ENADE) held in 2019. The critical-descriptive study included collecting information from the database of 508 undergraduate courses that participated in the evaluation. The results point to an expansion process of the offer of distance education courses, concentrated in private oligopolies. Such institutions presented, mostly, unsatisfactory performances in ENADE, when compared to public and private face-to-face courses. It is concluded that the graduation of the bachelor in physical education in the distance education courses remains far from the one desired, to an omnilateral performance.
