Abstract

The object of this article is to analyze the presence of assessment in the pedagogical projects of the physical education course (PPCs) at public universities in the North region of Brazil. The method used is critical-documentary, the sources are ten pedagogical course projects from the aforementioned universities and their respective poles, which offer the training course for teachers in physical education. The analyzes show two strategies for presenting knowledge about assessment, through specific or pulverized disciplines, relegating the debate on the specificity of making assessments in physical education to a secondary level.
