Abstract

The present text intends to identify the different ways which have been used as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in High Education. Also, the text intends to check its impacts in teaching and learning processes. For this, we accomplished a descritive and basic research, having as metodological procedure a bibliographical study. It was verified that using PBL in High Education facilitates learning by competences. Besides, PBL generates advantages in teaching and learning processes concerning to motivation and experiences which students can undergo. These circumstances impose the realization that the success in teaching and learning processes in High Education is related to the use of means which allow students’ experiences that are as closer as possible of their reality.
